The spray width changes with the used distance to the object. For skinnier lines, spray from a closer distance. For fatter lines, spray from a further distance.The New York Fat Cap (or NY fat cap), is a staple for graffiti artists the world over. It is a universally gifted cap that has both practical benefits such as efficient delivery of paint, as well as clean, crisp lines. Making it a great tagging cap, outlining cap, filling cap or object spraying cap. Also loved by urban artists, street artists, fine artists and DIYers doing art and craft projects, the NY fat cap has an average spray width of 4cm to 6cm which ejects paint evenly, leaving a balanced distribution of paint within its solid, clean line. Fitting on all female cans like Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK and Montana WHITE, its classification and naming as a “fat cap” was probably attained in a period of 70’s-80’s New York graffiti when there were not many fatter caps available. This spray can be used on a variety of surfaces such as wood, metal, cardboard, ceramic, stone, or pre-primed synthetic materials and also polystyrene. The concrete effect is created using a water-based acrylic formula that mimics the appearance of real concrete.Montana CONCRETE Effect is highly adhesive and fast drying. For a more authentic look, you can blend shades such as City Hall, Pantheon, and Empire using the wet-on-wet technique, or vary the layer thickness. The new Montana RUST Effect spray now available – for the illusion of rust and oxidization. Ideal for hobby, DIY, or creative projects. Apply as a single color, or both together as desired for an organic look. Can be used on different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic, and other paintable materials. The rust effect is created by a nitro-combi formulation that mimics the appearance of oxidized. Apply RUST Effect Brown, and Brown Orange on top of each other for a more organic appearance. Rust Effect can be top coated and combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers, and customary acrylic paints once completely dry. Pre-priming is required for application on polystyrene (Use Montana Styrofoam primer and make sure to seal the surface completely). Color as shown by the donut on the can. USE: Best working temperature between +10°C and +25°C. During application, protect the object and the surrounding area from spray mist. Surfaces should be dry, clean of dust, and oils before application. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes. Remove lid before use. For best results apply at 25cm from the object. €9.00Product information “Montana PRIMER 400ml – Polystyrene”The Montana POLYSTYRENE PRIMER is the perfect tool for the job when you want to create a neutral surface of which to apply further coatings onto polystyrene and styrofoam based surfaces. The Montana POLYSTYRENE PRIMER is ideal for sealing and preparing polystyrene and styrofoam based materials for the efficient application of further color coats. The POLYSTYRENE PRIMER assists in adhesion, maximizes coverage of further coatings, seals porous surfaces and resists against agitation of further solvent based coatings when all surface holes are covered. The Montana PLASTIC PRIMER also increases the durability of polystyrene/ Styrofoam surfaces once coated. Due to the varied chemical make-up of polystyrene, we suggest trialing on a non-visible area of your material to test for compatibility. You can apply any Montana-Cans color,TECH or EFFECT spray over the POLYSTYRENE PRIMER once it has dried and cured. Montana POLYSTYRENE PRIMER will increase the intensity and longevity of the coatings applied over it. Curing time is 24 or more hours depending on ambient temperature and moisture levels. The Montana POLYSTYRENE PRIMER is a beige/brown colored, matte coating, in a Nitro-Combi based composition which achieves a relatively neutral color base for the application of any of the Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK or Montana WHITE color range. Smooth, even application is effortless thanks to the Montana FLAT JET Medium cap which is standard on the can. To vary the spray application, why not try the Montana FLAT JET WIDE, the FAT CAP GOLD/BLACK or any of the Montana LEVEL 1-3 caps. Remember to keep your polystyrene projects away from extreme heat or flames. Ensure all surfaces are completely sealed and air holes closed coated. The rougher and more air holes the substrate has, the more coats of POLYSTYRENE PRIMER required for complete protection against further solvent based color coatings.
USE: Apply primer in several thin layers spraying before the previous coat is fully dry, but with 1 or 2 minutes between each pass. Further coats might require a drying time of 24 hours or more depending on substrate. Always test spray on a non-visible area to check compatibility of lacquer or paint. For optimal lifespan, store cans always with the nozzle on.

MONTANA HOLOGRAM GLITTER 400ML
€10.00Semi gloss translucent paint is the vehicle base carrying the high quality fine holographic glitter particles for a sensational metallic effect that can add a totally new dimension to all kinds of surfaces. From paper to cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and just about any other paintable surface. Once applied, the semi gloss lacquer layer will have embed a fine distribution of holographic particles over the substrate. The more coats applied, the greater the intensity of the effect. Applying a layer(s) of Montana Gloss Varnish will not only protect the surface of your work, it will also allow more light to enhance the effect further. The final result will significantly be influenced by the color and gloss level of the undercoat. The hologram glitter particles are carried in a clear base that can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!). Please note, due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to re-shake after each spray application regardless of time between sprays to guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle.
USE: For best results we recommend applying it over Montana GOLD, Shock Black SH9000 or a dark colored underground that has had time to cure, allowing contrast to occur for the glitter particles to reflect on. The Hologram Glitter spray’s clear base can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. We recommend using it in conjunction with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!).
Shake Well! Due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to shake the can well for at least 3 minutes before starting and to re-shake for at least 10 seconds after each spray application regardless of the time between sprays. This will guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle. The Hologram Glitter Effect spray is best applied to a smooth level surface to show greater light variation. Undulations in the substrates surface may detract from the impact of the holographic effect. Application of multiple, thin, light coats will build up the particle saturation and intensify the effect.
Surfaces should be clean and dry. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes! Apply the spray at a distance to the object of 20 – 30cm. Best holographic effect can be achieved on even surfaces the darker the surface, the stronger the effect. Prime object black with Montana GOLD Shock Black S9000. Let undercoat fully cure apply several thin even layers allow min. 5 minutes drying time between coats. Shake the can well again after pausing to avoid sedimentation of glitter particles the more layers, the stronger the hologram effect. Dust dry after approx. 10 min. Touch dry after approx. 60 min. Fully cured after approx. 24 hours.
