  TIPS:
  Choose a well-ventilated area and place the object you want to paint over a nylon protection sheet
  Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye/face protection
  Ensure that the surface you want to paint is clean, dry, and free of loose spots or grease
  Old wooden furniture may have been polished with wax. If so, use a wire sponge with white spirit to clean it before painting. For painted wood ideally sand it before painting it with a P180 sandpaper
  Mask areas that you do not want to be painted with a paper tape
  Apply two coats of the Chalk Effect with relatively quick movements. Paint first vertically and then horizontally. Wait 5-10 minutes before painting the next coat.
  For small objects or areas that need detailed painting, use the white nozzle (from 4-5cm distance). For larger surfaces and high speed use the black nozzle (from 8-10cm distance)
  If you want to achieve the effect of natural wear, 24 hours after painting, use a fine sandpaper P180-220 and gently sand the parts of the surface that you want to remove the color, revealing the bare wood. This technique works best for sanding the corners and edges of your surface
  You can also combine two (2) different colors, a light base color like Chalk Effect Pure White with a second color on top. When you sand off the exterior paint instead of the wood it will reveal the paint color

MONTANA HOLOGRAM GLITTER 400ML

Semi gloss translucent paint is the vehicle base carrying the high quality fine holographic glitter particles for a sensational metallic effect that can add a totally new dimension to all kinds of surfaces. From paper to cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and just about any other paintable surface. Once applied, the semi gloss lacquer layer will have embed a fine distribution of holographic particles over the substrate. The more coats applied, the greater the intensity of the effect. Applying a layer(s) of Montana Gloss Varnish will not only protect the surface of your work, it will also allow more light to enhance the effect further. The final result will significantly be influenced by the color and gloss level of the undercoat. The hologram glitter particles are carried in a clear base that can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!). Please note, due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to re-shake after each spray application regardless of time between sprays to guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle.
USE: For best results we recommend applying it over Montana GOLD, Shock Black SH9000 or a dark colored underground that has had time to cure, allowing contrast to occur for the glitter particles to reflect on. The Hologram Glitter spray’s clear base can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. We recommend using it in conjunction with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!).
Shake Well! Due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to shake the can well for at least 3 minutes before starting and to re-shake for at least 10 seconds after each spray application regardless of the time between sprays. This will guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle. The Hologram Glitter Effect spray is best applied to a smooth level surface to show greater light variation. Undulations in the substrates surface may detract from the impact of the holographic effect. Application of multiple, thin, light coats will build up the particle saturation and intensify the effect.
Surfaces should be clean and dry. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes! Apply the spray at a distance to the object of 20 – 30cm. Best holographic effect can be achieved on even surfaces the darker the surface, the stronger the effect. Prime object black with Montana GOLD Shock Black S9000. Let undercoat fully cure apply several thin even layers allow min. 5 minutes drying time between coats. Shake the can well again after pausing to avoid sedimentation of glitter particles the more layers, the stronger the hologram effect. Dust dry after approx. 10 min. Touch dry after approx. 60 min. Fully cured after approx. 24 hours.

The Montana METAL PRIMER is the perfect tool for the job when you want to create a neutral surface of which to apply further coatings onto metal surfaces. With anti-oxidation properties to help resist the onset of rust, the METAL PRIMER has a matt finish and gives your metal project the longest possible lifespan, with the highest aesthetic results. Applying METAL PRIMER to your artwork or D.I.Y project will create the best possible adhesion and protection for further coatings like Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK or Montana WHITE range colors. The METAL PRIMER will also provide further protection against scratching and denting. The METAL PRIMER was developed for optimal pre-treatment of metal (Iron or brass) and mineral surfaces. Ensuring that your surface is clean, dry and free of all dust and oils before application will ensure that your Montana METAL PRIMER provides the ultimate base for further coatings. Further coating is possible with the Montana TECH, and Montana Cans color ranges. Smooth, even application is effortless thanks to the Montana FLAT JET CAP Medium, that comes standard on the can. For further application caps, why not try the FLAT JET WIDE, the FAT CAP GOLD/BLACK or any of the Montana LEVEL 1-3 caps. PLASTIC PRIMER is ideal for sealing and preparing plastic materials for the efficient application of color coats. The PLASTIC PRIMER assists in adhesion, maximize coverage of further coatings, seals porous surfaces and reduces the risk of tearing and cracking. Montana PLASTIC PRIMER is a surface preparer that can be used on hard plastics such as: polyurethane (PUR), polystyrene (PS), polyamide (PA), polypropylene rubber, modified (EPDM), acrylic butadiene styrene plastics (ABS), glass-fibre reinforced plastics (GfK), hard polyvinyl chloride (Hard-PVC). Due to the varied chemical make-up of plastics we suggest trialing on a non-visible area of your material to test for compatibility. You can apply any Montana-Cans color, TECH or EFFECT spray over the PLASTIC PRIMER once it has dried and cured. Montana PLASTIC PRIMER will increase the intensity and longevity of the coatings applied over it. Curing time is 24 or more hours depending on ambient temperature and moisture levels. The Montana PLASTIC PRIMER is a semi gloss, transparent white in color in the form of a Nitro-Combi based coating which achieves a neutral color base for the application of any of the Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK or Montana WHITE color range. Smooth, even application is effortless thanks to the Montana FLAT JET Medium cap which is standard on the can. To vary the spray stroke application why not try the Montana FLAT JET WIDE, the FAT CAP GOLD/BLACK or any of the Montana LEVEL 1-3 caps. Due to possible expansion and contraction of all plastics, for best results remember to keep your plastic projects out of extreme weather conditions or temperature changes. The new Montana RUST Effect spray now available – for the illusion of rust and oxidization. Ideal for hobby, DIY, or creative projects. Apply as a single color, or both together as desired for an organic look. Can be used on different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic, and other paintable materials. The rust effect is created by a nitro-combi formulation that mimics the appearance of oxidized. Apply RUST Effect Brown, and Brown Orange on top of each other for a more organic appearance. Rust Effect can be top coated and combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers, and customary acrylic paints once completely dry. Pre-priming is required for application on polystyrene (Use Montana Styrofoam primer and make sure to seal the surface completely). Color as shown by the donut on the can. USE: Best working temperature between +10°C and +25°C. During application, protect the object and the surrounding area from spray mist. Surfaces should be dry, clean of dust, and oils before application. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes. Remove lid before use. For best results apply at 25cm from the object. Apply in thin even layers, in a sweeping motion with at least 2 min drying time between each pass. Allow 24h curing time before applying other coatings. Always test spray on a non-visible area to check the compatibility of lacquer or paint.

Montana CRACKLE EFFECT Spray offers a unique crackle effect, perfect for achieving vintage or distressed looks. Ideal for use on any art, hobby, or DIY project, it brings a creative edge to your work. Whether you’re revamping furniture, creating artwork, or adding texture to decorations, this spray delivers standout results.
A prior base coat is essential for the crackle effect to work. We recommend using Montana GOLD or Montana WHITE as the base. The thicker the base coat, the more pronounced the crackle effect will be. Allow the base coat to dry for at least 45 minutes, but no more than 24 hours, before applying the CRACKLE EFFECT (drying time may vary depending on temperature, humidity, and coat thickness). For best results, apply the spray in cross-coating motions (left to right, then up and down). Once applied, the cracking process begins, revealing the unique crackle pattern.
Montana CRACKLE EFFECT offers high coverage and can be top-coated with Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK, Montana WHITE, Montana ACRYLIC markers, or other customary acrylic paints once fully dry and cured (after 24 hours). If applying on polystyrene, pre-priming…‹

Glass is everywhere. Our windows are made of it, our homes have vases made from it, the bottles we drink
from and even the jars we get some of our food from are all made of glass. Whether it is a little extra privacy
by frosting a window, some creative upcycling or redecorating some old glass homewares, the Montana
GLASS PAINT 250ml is just what you need to add color to glass while enjoying the transparency of light.
Montana GLASS PAINT 250ml is Nitro-Acrylic-Combi based paint that is delivered under low pressure in a
250ml sized can. The 9 available colors dry to a semi transparent, frosted matte finish. Making it possible to
allow light to pass through the painted glass and arrive in the appearance of the color which it has been
applied. The more coats applied, the less light can pass through the object.
Once shaken well for 3 minutes before use, this fast drying paint is dust dry in 3-5 minutes, touch dry in apx.1
hour and completely cured and hardened in 24 hours. Drying times may vary subject to ambient temperatures,
humidity and thickness of coating. Montana GLASS PAINT 250ml can be used in conjunction with other
synthetic or acrylic paints once dried completely.
When applied at 20cm -30cm from your object, the Montana Flat Jet spray nozzle makes achieving elegant
frosted or milk glass effects easy for users of any skill level. Turn ordinary glass jewelery or glass ornaments
into sea glass wonders with extra durability thaks to GLASS PAINT’s strong adhesion. Dry, clean and free of
any dust, oils or fats is the ultimate way to prepare your glass surface and ensure longevity. For that extra bit
of help againts UV fatigue, scratch resistance and general resistance to the elements, apply Montana
VARNISH. We recommend testing for compatability on a non-visible or scrap piece of your glassmaterial
before major application. Not recommended for use for on acrylic or plexiglass surfaces. Wash by hand and
avoid application to surfaces of objects that come in direct contact with consumable food and beverages
