      INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

      Shake the container at least 3 minutes after you hear the mixing ball. Before the first use, spray it in the air for 3-4 seconds to remove any condensed colour. After use, turn the aerosol upside down and press the actuator for 2-3 seconds to clean the valve. If the nozzle is blocked, replace it with a new one. Select the valve according to your desired application, the black valve system for wide spray and large surfaces or the white actuator for fine spray, small surfaces, and details. Optimal application at temperature: 10-25°C and humidity below 65% ensures proper drying. Storage 05-35°C.

      TIPS:

      • Choose a well-ventilated area and place the object you want to paint over a nylon protection sheet
      • Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye/face protection
      • Ensure that the surface you want to paint is clean, dry, and free of loose spots or grease
      • Old wooden furniture may have been polished with wax. If so, use a wire sponge with white spirit to clean it before painting. For painted wood ideally sand it before painting it with a P180 sandpaper
      • Mask areas that you do not want to be painted with a paper tape
      • Apply two coats of the Chalk Effect with relatively quick movements. Paint first vertically and then horizontally. Wait 5-10 minutes before painting the next coat.
      • For small objects or areas that need detailed painting, use the white nozzle (from 4-5cm distance). For larger surfaces and high speed use the black nozzle (from 8-10cm distance)
      • If you want to achieve the effect of natural wear, 24 hours after painting, use a fine sandpaper P180-220 and gently sand the parts of the surface that you want to remove the color, revealing the bare wood. This technique works best for sanding the corners and edges of your surface
      • You can also combine two (2) different colors, a light base color like Chalk Effect Pure White with a second color on top. When you sand off the exterior paint instead of the wood it will reveal the paint color

    Montana CONCRETE Effect Spray for creating realistic concrete-like textures
    The new Montana CONCRETE Effect Spray is now available — perfect for creating the realistic look of raw concrete. Ideal for hobby, DIY, or creative projects. Use as a single color, or combine multiple tones to achieve a more natural concrete effect. This spray can be used on a variety of surfaces such as wood, metal, cardboard, ceramic, stone, or pre-primed synthetic materials and also polystyrene. The concrete effect is created using a water-based acrylic formula that mimics the appearance of real concrete.
    Montana CONCRETE Effect is highly adhesive and fast drying. For a more authentic look, you can blend shades such as City Hall, Pantheon, and Empire using the wet-on-wet technique, or vary the layer thickness. You can also treat the freshly applied paint with cardboard or foil to create texture variations and irregularities for a more realistic concrete look. Thanks to the CONCRETE Effect and its realistic appearance, lightweight objects can be given the appearance of being massive and heavy.
    The CONCRETE Effect Spray can be top-coated and combined with Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK, Montana ACRYLIC markers, and in general customary acrylic and nitro-combi paints once fully cured. When working on non-sealed surfaces, pre-priming with Montana Universal PRIMER is recommended. Make sure to watch our How-To Video.
    USE: Optimal working temperature is between +10°C and +25°C. Always test spray on a non-visible area to ensure compatibility of lacquer or paint! Protect the object and surrounding areas from spray mist during application. Make sure surfaces are dry and free of dust and oils before spraying. Shake the can thoroughly for 2-3 minutes before use. Remove the safety ring under the nozzle or lid before application. For best results, spray at a distance of 25cm from the object. Apply in thin, even layers with at least 2-3 minutes drying time between each pass. Allow a full 24 hours curing time before applying other coatings. Highest spray paint quality made in Germany.

    A prior base coat is essential for the crackle effect to work. We recommend using Montana GOLD or Montana WHITE as the base. Allow the base coat to dry for at least 45 minutes, but no more than 24 hours, before applying the CRACKLE EFFECT (drying time may vary depending on temperature, humidity, and coat thickness).     GLASS PAINT 250ml is just what you need to add color to glass while enjoying the transparency of light.
    Montana GLASS PAINT 250ml is Nitro-Acrylic-Combi based paint that is delivered under low pressure in a
    250ml sized can. The 9 available colors dry to a semi transparent, frosted matte finish. Making it possible to
    allow light to pass through the painted glass and arrive in the appearance of the color which it has been
    applied. The more coats applied, the less light can pass through the object.
    Once shaken well for 3 minutes before use, this fast drying paint is dust dry in 3-5 minutes, touch dry in apx.1
    hour and completely cured and hardened in 24 hours. Drying times may vary subject to ambient temperatures,
    humidity and thickness of coating. Montana GLASS PAINT 250ml can be used in conjunction with other
    synthetic or acrylic paints once dried completely.

    Water-based special effect spray paint with fine plastic particles for a deceivingly realistic granite effect. Not recommended for outdoor use! Only water-proof when sealed with several coats of Montana VARNISH and correct surface coating (Primer). Applicable on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, polystyrene and other paintable acrylic materials. The Montana GRANIT effect is very high covering.  For best results it is advisable to prime your surface when using light colored granite effect shades, particularly when painting on dark surfaces. We recommend using the Montana PRIMER or the Montana TEXTURE spray. The latter will enhance the granite look even more. Can be top-coated once thoroughly dry. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and standard acrylic paints. The GRANIT effect spray also works well as a structure spray. Lightly coat dry areas to receive the desired granite-look. Color shown on top or donut. Recommended to seal with Montana VARNISH. Make sure that Granit effect is completely dried (36-48h) before sealing with Montana VARNISH. Available in colors: light grey, grey, brown and black. Please Note: GRANIT Black has a mix of green an black plastic particles to recreate the look of real granite.     Semi gloss translucent paint is the vehicle base carrying the high quality fine holographic glitter particles for a sensational metallic effect that can add a totally new dimension to all kinds of surfaces. From paper to cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and just about any other paintable surface. Once applied, the semi gloss lacquer layer will have embed a fine distribution of holographic particles over the substrate. The more coats applied, the greater the intensity of the effect. Applying a layer(s) of Montana Gloss Varnish will not only protect the surface of your work, it will also allow more light to enhance the effect further. The final result will significantly be influenced by the color and gloss level of the undercoat. The hologram glitter particles are carried in a clear base that can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!). Please note, due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to re-shake after each spray application regardless of time between sprays to guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle.

    USE: For best results we recommend applying it over Montana GOLD, Shock Black SH9000 or a dark colored underground that has had time to cure, allowing contrast to occur for the glitter particles to reflect on. The Hologram Glitter spray’s clear base can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. We recommend using it in conjunction with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!).

    Shake Well! Due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to shake the can well for at least 3 minutes before starting and to re-shake for at least 10 seconds after each spray application regardless of the time between sprays. This will guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle. The Hologram Glitter Effect spray is best applied to a smooth level surface to show greater light variation. Undulations in the substrates surface may detract from the impact of the holographic effect. Application of multiple, thin, light coats will build up the particle saturation and intensify the effect.

    Surfaces should be clean and dry. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes! Apply the spray at a distance to the object of 20 – 30cm.  Best holographic effect can be achieved on even surfaces the darker the surface, the stronger the effect. Prime object black with Montana GOLD Shock Black S9000. Let undercoat fully cure apply several thin even layers allow min. 5 minutes drying time between coats. Shake the can well again after pausing to avoid sedimentation of glitter particles the more layers, the stronger the hologram effect. Dust dry after approx. 10 min. Touch dry after approx. 60 min. Fully cured after approx. 24 hours.

    The Montana Metallic Effect Sprays bring state of the art paint technology to traditional metallic effect colors. Loaded with a Montana Standard cap, these cans provide excellent delivery and reliability under medium pressure output. Not only are the Montana Metallic Effect colors ideal for application on functional objects such as bikes and furniture, they can also add a metallic flare to any creative or artistic project on paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. Made from an Acrylic-Nitro Combination base, the paint surface dries to a durable semi-gloss finish which is both hard wearing when cured (24+ hours) as well as flexible.

    For best results shake can vigorously for approximately 3 minutes before use and apply at a distance of 15cm – 20cm to a pre-primed substrate. Re-shake between intervals to assure settled pigment is re-mixed. To enhance color result even further, pre-prime substrate with a similar Montana color as base. Apply in thin multiple layers, varying application strokes from vertical to horizontal on each run. Optimum use temperature is between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. Drying time is normally around 10 mins for dust dry, 20 minutes for touch dry and 24 hours for total curing. Please note drying times vary subject to room temperature and moisture levels. To protect your artwork to its fullest, apply Montana spray Varnish in Gloss, Semi-Gloss or Matt once Metallic Effect colors have dried and cured. We do not recommend objects painted with Metallic Effect colors be exposed to high temperatures over 80 degrees Celsius.

    Montana NIGHTGLOW is a high-grade acrylic paint which contains luminescence-pigments, that store light (absorbed energy) and emit the light in darkness. This luminiscence-effect is only visible at total darkness. The period is depending on intensity or irradation and thickness of paint layer (it is recommended to apply multiple layers of NIGHTGLOW paint lacquer on the primed surface). The highest possible degree of shining is immediately after loading the painted object then it fades away. For indoors and outdoors applications. For best glow effects use in a completely dark environment without any light sources. Use a strong source of light to load the effect paint temporarily. The effect spray is suitable for all smooth, rough or light responding primed surfaces. e. g. metal, wood, hard plastics, primed carton, walls etc. We recommend to prime the ground with  WHITE 9100 to achieve best glow effects. Consider longer drying time depending on substrate. Limited resistance to weathering, light and UV-influences. To improve resistance, we recommend to varnish with VARNISH Gloss . USE: Best working temperature between +10°C and +25°C. During application, protect the object and the surrounding area from spray mist. Surfaces should be dry, clean of dust, and oils before application. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes. Remove lid before use. For best results apply at 25cm from the object. Apply in thin even layers, in a sweeping motion with at least 2 min drying time between each pass. Allow 24h curing time before applying other coatings. Always test spray on a non-visible area to check the compatibility of lacquer or paint.
