AGM is back again, and this one’s heavy – literally. Issue 11 isn’t just a mag, it’s a full-on hardcover coffee table book stacked with 152 pages of abstract graffiti from every corner of the globe. Thick, clean, and built to last, it’s the kind of piece you wanna keep out where people can flip through and get lost in the styles.

Inside you’ll find interviews that really go deep, with writers like Keso repping Gothenburg, Jorgen from France, Evok holding it down in Krasnoyarsk, and Nonfungibility straight outta Berlin. Each conversation hits different, showing how abstract graffiti is moving and mutating depending on the city and the mind behind it.

And yeah, there’s more: this edition also comes with a two-sided poster straight from the Abstract Session Jam in Brussels 2025 – perfect for throwing up on the wall or keeping tucked safe as part of the collection.

If you’re into abstract graffiti, this isn’t just another mag. It’s a solid piece of culture.

This book comes with a double-sided poster from the Abstract Session Jam in Brussels 2025. A4 format, hardcover. 152 pages.

In the current issue, we have included a lot of highlights, some changes and insights. No interview in this issue. So we have more space for creativity from the streets, walls, rooftops, tenements and walls. A bit about so-called high culture, including Krik Kong in the salons of Zachęta. And also the favourite colourful trains. A few photo reports from jams (Meeting of Styles, SUN Festival Airport Battle). In addition, an account of the emerging graffiti and mural initiative in Częstochowa under the slogan Support Culture Graffiti Jam – Kartkowanie Rąk Nie Brudzi. The past summer period, which stretched into winter, was marked by stationary jams and tensions on the Internet. Let’s do graffiti, not tensions – let’s let the passion unite, not divide.

In this new work Babs invites us on a trip into his cyber-graffiti universe. So the Cyber Babs Art Book offers a selection of some of his most outstanding works.

They mark his transition period and illustrate the change from a classic graffiti artist to what Babs likes to call the neo-graffiti trend. Around fifty paintings created in Europe form the focus of the book. The viewer is immersed in a futuristic, mechanical and sometimes organic universe borrowed from the illustrators who shaped and influenced him: Philippe Druillet, Mœbius, Otomo or Giger, to name but a few. Babs adopts their styles to express his own vision in the form of abstract graffiti works. Each of these works, which are all instinctively created, teleports us into a new dimension of abstract compositions, in which each one finds its own interpretation.

Dive into the electrifying story of the Shirt Kings, the visionary pioneers who shaped a style that became the cornerstone of hip hop culture in the 1980s and beyond.

In mid-1980s Jamaica, Queens, New York, rappers, celebrities, and hip hop enthusiasts from across the city flocked to the Shirt Kings’ shop to commission their one-of-a-kind custom T-shirts. These bold designs quickly gained global recognition, featured prominently on record covers and in music videos, and became a hallmark of hip hop culture—turning creativity into a movement of “making something out of nothing.”

Shirt Kings: Pioneers of Hip Hop Fashion offers a vivid glimpse into the birth of streetwear through the eyes of these artistic entrepreneurs. By adapting graffiti techniques from trains and spray cans to T-shirts and airbrushes, the Shirt Kings revolutionized urban fashion, creating a fresh aesthetic for a new generation.

Through the archives of Edwin “Phade” Sacasa, a founding member of the group, readers are transported back to 1980s New York, where fashion was loud, colorful, and uniquely urban. These weren’t just any cartoons—Mickey Mouse rocked a Fila tracksuit, Casper the Friendly Ghost sported gold teeth, and the Pink Panther dripped in gold chains. Their shop, nestled in Jamaica, Queens’ Coliseum Mall, became a hub for the biggest names in hip hop, from DJ Red Alert to LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, and even Mike Tyson—all eager to don Shirt Kings’ iconic designs.

This richly illustrated book chronicles the art, the culture, and the loyal supporters of the Shirt Kings, taking readers on a nostalgic journey to a time when customization and creativity reigned supreme in New York City.

Now, in celebration of hip hop’s 50th anniversary, this long-awaited softcover edition offers a fresh opportunity to explore the inspiring legacy of the Shirt Kings and their enduring impact on hip hop and streetwear.

For seven years, photographer and psychotherapist Caroline Jensen has traveled back and forth between Stockholm and New York to photograph graffiti writers. Faces of Graffiti shows intimate portraits of writers that Caroline Jensen has established a deep and personal connection with.

The book portrays New York graffiti pioneers who began writing in the late 1960s, writers who grabbed the baton and established graffiti in Stockholm in the 1980s, and younger writers who have further developed the graphic design of graffiti.

To understand how graffiti affects writers’ lives, Caroline Jensen asked them about their driving forces. Rooted in her work as a psychotherapist, she reflects on self-development and the role graffiti plays in the lives of the writers.

Charmin 65, Nic 707, Riff 170, Rubin, Snake 1, Kaos, Shiro and Taki 183 are some of the artists portrayed in the book, accompanied by images of their graffiti art.

Caroline Jensen is a photographer based in Sweden with the world as her field. She is also a licensed psychotherapist with her own practice for twenty-two years. She combines her two professions with a deep interest in the process of change. Dokument Press has previously published her book Room for Therapy.

“War of Words,” a publication commemorating the 20th anniversary of the graffiti crew WOW, was released ten years ago. This ephemeral publication, designed in a newspaper format to mirror the transitory nature of graffiti art, garnered significant attention. A limited edition of only 450 copies was rapidly distributed globally, selling out within days. A promotional video emphasizing the project’s exclusivity further amplified its reach.

Recently, a small batch of “War of Words” photos was discovered in storage. This unexpected find has led to a special package combining it with a new publication, “Why oh Why.” This latter publication chronicles the subsequent decade (2010-2020), complementing the original’s coverage of the crew’s first twenty years (1989-2010). “Why oh Why” features previously unpublished material from 2010 to 2020 presented in a folded poster format, accompanied by a carefully curated selection of photographs. Both “Why oh Why x War of Words” and “Why oh Why” are individually packaged in numbered envelopes.”
